Kobe Bryant's locker at Staples Center fetched $2.9 million at an auction.
The locker was used from 2003-04 to Bryant's final season in 2015-16.
It is the most valuable locker to ever sell at an auction, and the third-most expensive Bryant memorabilia piece.
The locker was bidding at $750,000 before four bidders pushed it to the final price over the last 20 minutes.
