Malachi Moreno announced his commitment to Kentucky for the 2025 class.

Moreno, a four-star center, is ranked as the No. 36 recruit in his class.

"I chose Kentucky because of Coach Pope's playing style. He likes to play through their big men and allows them to pass. That's a big part of my game," said Moreno.

Kentucky continue to pursue several prospects, including five-star recruit Jasper Johnson.

Would have liked to see Moreno go to IU...the same reasoning he gave for liking Pope's system is exactly why I'd have liked him at IU. They play thru the bigs, show consistent improvement, and end up being well prepared to make the league.
