Boban Marjanovic Continues To Wait For NBA Spot

Boban Marjanovic remains unsigned this offseason after spending the past two seasons with the Houston Rockets. Marjanovic continues to hope to remain in the NBA at the age of 36.
“Every time you make plans, it doesn’t work out," said Marjanovic. "Plans always change. Here, I first wanted to come by plane, but we arrived by car. I have no plans. I enjoy every segment of life. I’m waiting for the NBA, but if it doesn’t happen, there is a lot on paper going on. But let’s move on.”

For sure, he can't be a heavy minutes player due to his lack of speed.
However, if he hasn't diminished a ton due to his age, his massive frame and willingness to body up the biggest centers in the game could still be useful as an end-of-bench option for specific matchups.

Boban might actually be the highest paid 3rd string/healthy scratch player ever. $40M playing a total of 3000 garbage minutes.
