Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic met with the media at Goran Dragic's farewell game in Slovenia. One of the topics Vucevic covered is how much longer he plans to play.

"I’m aware that I’ve been in the NBA for 13 years now, that the end is not that far off," Vucevic said. "I don’t believe I’ll play another 13 years, but I have two more years with Chicago, and I’d like to play two more after that… I think I can play at a high level for that long, and then I’ll see."

Near the start of this season, Vucevic will turn 34 years old. The veteran center is owed $41.5 million, fully guaranteed, over the next two seasons with the Bulls.

Vucevic's efficiency slipped last season, as he dropped back below 50% shooting from the field and 30% on three-pointers. That's something Vucevic attributed to injuries and constant trade rumors around the Bulls last season.

<30% 3P is unusual, but did anyone expect differently than this ?

1. Vuc's FG% over the past 8 seasons is .488
2. He shot under 50% in 6 of those 8 seasons
3. Last year was his 3rd best FG% in that 8 year span

This is who he is

He's fine, an average starter on an average starter's salary. Situation matters and the situation in CHI has sucked for all but 2 months over the last 3 years. We'll see where he lands next.

The problem with Vuc is that he is a terrible defender.
