There is currently no trade market for Trae Young, according to Tim MacMahon of The Hoop Collective.

"If there was a real market for Trae Young, he'd be somewhere else right now," said MacMahon.

Young has been the frequent target of trade rumors throughout the summer, though the market has also been described as "chilly."

The Jazz reportedly explored trade scenarios surrounding Young. Young has also been a rumored target of the Spurs.

"The San Antonio Spurs, if they wanted Trae Young, they easily could have gone and gotten him ... there wasn't a real market for Trae Young," added MacMahon.

Everyone knows your not winning a championship with Trae as a max player and leading your offence.. I dont know if many teams would want him for the amount he will earn on their roster period let alone give up meaningful assets..

Trae is quickly becoming a number 2 option, just based on how he plays.

If Beal and Lillard could be traded, there is a market for Trae fo sho.

The market isn't the same. We're also seeing with Zach Lavine; not many teams want to hit that 1st apron and don't want to hit that 2nd apron. Beal & Dame situations are bit different, their new respective teams wanted to go for the "win now" move and right now it's been a failure. Lastly, there's also the extension eligibility with him in a year or 2, combining all of that, the market for him a bare.
