Steph Curry: Owning NBA Team Is 'Definitely On The Table'

Steph Curry said that he wants to own an NBA team after he retires from the league.
“For me, that’s definitely on the table. I think I could do a pretty good job of helping sustain how great the the NBA is right now and what it takes to run a championship organization," Curry told CNBC.
Curry recently signed a contract extension with the Warriors that will expire when he turns 39 years old.
Curry added that he's learning first-hand about how to treat players from the Warriors.
“The investment that it takes to create that first-class experience so we feel taken care of allows us to hoop at a high level,” added Curry.

When you have ridiculous amounts of money "owning things" is what you do. Nothing is off the table.

Looking at the CNBC interview, Steph was gonna say "owner" but stopped himself and rephrased to not upset his buddy Draymond. So thoughtful.

Meanwhile he’s actively campaigning for the candidate who has proposed policies that will prevent him from owning a team. His teammate, Draymond was already complaining about taxes but imagine the outcry when their unrealized gains are taxed because they are worth $100M+…

Plenty of billionaires support Kamala Harris. why ? because she's not going to make them any less rich and it's better for their brand.

He has enough to be a significant partner in owning a team... but you may have missed my point.
