Christian Wood had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced.
Wood will be re-evaluated in eight weeks.
Wood missed the last two months of last season after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee.
Wood picked up his $3 million player option with the Lakers this offseason.
