The Cleveland Cavaliers and restricted free agent forward Isaac Okoro agreed to a three-year, $38 million contract Saturday afternoon, agents Michael Tellem, Jeff Schwartz and Marcus Monk told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Okoro, 23, was the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, and was the last restricted free agent left on the market. His signing, which comes just over two weeks before the start of training camp, caps a busy and productive summer for the Cavaliers.

Overpay this late in FA… could’ve likely gotten him for four years, $40 million with a team option for the last year, so basically 3 years $28 million or so

He wanted to go to BK. But, he also wanted 3 years and DFS expires much sooner. If he took that 2 year deal he might be elsewhere.

3 years/28 million is less than 3 years/38 million

Where did you learn math buddy?
