Kawhi Leonard underwent a procedure on his knee during the offseason. Leonard only played in Games 2 and 3 of the Los Angeles Clippers' first round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks due to soreness in his knee.

Leonard will be limited to strengthening his knee as the Clippers start training camp, but the team is optimistic about his progress.

Leonard did not participate in the Olympics with USA Basketball after initially reporting to their camp in July. The Clippers didn't disclose the procedure previously.

Leonard and the Clippers signed a three-year, $152.4 million extension in January.

Spurs look worse and worse, how they handled Kawhi's last season in San Antonio. Basically accused Kawhi of faking what we now know is a serious degenerative injury.

This is on brand for him.

You won't get 60 games a season out of him unless he is in a contract year.

And with that...the Clippers may never sniff a conference final with him load managing like that.

Its ridiculous, not sure what business he had showing up to the Olympics camp like he was actually going to be part of the team. The memes were right about him going just to be part of the PR and photo ops.
