Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Sep 28, 2024 9:50 pm

The New York Knicks have waived Marcus Morris Sr. and Chuma Okeke. Both Morris and Okeke were signed to non-guaranteed training camp contracts.

Morris was signed to an Exhibit 9 contract. He'll re-enter unrestricted free agency upon clearing waivers.

Okeke was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract. He'll also re-enter unrestricted free agency upon clearing waivers. Okeke also could be an option to play for the Westchester Knicks of the G League as an Affiliate Player.

Won’t the Knicks resign Morris once they sign and trade these other guys to make the Kat trade work. They need his attitude.

I think Biyombo would gives better bench minutes, can still fill the lane on the fast break, and allows KAT to play PF minutes as needed, until Robinson gets back.
