Jaren Jackson Jr. Injures Hamstring During Practice, Will Undergo Further Imaging

Jaren Jackson Jr. left the Memphis Grizzlies' first practice of training camp due to a tight hamstring.

"We're anticipating that it might be a strain," said Taylor Jenkins.

Jackson is set to undergo further imaging on the hamstring.

The Grizzlies are already without GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr. as they open training camp.

It should only be a minor blip for Jaren and the team, but at minimum, Memphis should conduct an internal review of their medical staff. It's beyond just bad luck or a series of isolated incidences, it might be they need to improve processes to keep players healthy.
