Mitchell Robinson will not return until at least January as he rehabs from two ankle procedures over the last year. Robinson and the New York Knicks will take a cautious approach in his return after he was limited to just 31 games last season.

The Knicks will use Karl-Anthony Towns and Jericho Sims as their primary centers until Robinson returns.

Robinson is signed through the 25-26 season.

They might trade him but would be smart not to. They are going to need him in the playoffs. He can play with KAT and sub for KAT, who is foul prone.

Trade him for what, another guard? If he was on another team, he’s exactly the player you would try to trade FOR at the deadline!
