Paul George has suffered a hyperextended left knee during Monday's preseason game.
George was playing in his second preseason game since signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.

At least you don’t have to worry about this happening to Kawhi cause he would never be playing this early in the season.

Whoever cheers for any injury isn't a real fan of the sport in my book. I like the Lakers and Clippers but most of all I'm a fan of the sport. I would never wish an injury to any player.

It's too easy to say "told you so," nor is it appropriate considering that the man is physically injured. It is obviously a bad look for the Sixers with both PG and Embiid already being out. Let's hope for everyone involved, that things improve.

Since I looked this up, I’ll pass it along
Injuries labeled as “hyperextended knee” result in an average time lost of 6.4 days. Believe it or not, this is not the first time that the player has suffered from this ailment. Paul George sustained hyperextension on his right knee back in 2023. He missed 9 games due to it
An NBA player can typically return from a hyperextended knee within a few weeks to a month if the injury is mild, but more severe cases requiring surgery could take several months to fully recover and return to play.
