Rockets Waive Thon Maker, Markquis Nowell

The Houston Rockets have waived center Thon Maker and point guard Markquis Nowell. Both players were signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts earlier this offseason.
Maker and Nowell are both expected to join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the upcoming G League season.

Crazy that Thon Maker is still fooling people into thinking hes a basketball player.

Not saying he's great, but he's definitely better some who are in the league right now
