The Chicago Bulls have waived wing Onuralp Bitim and forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. Chicago still has Talen Horton-Tucker and E.J. Liddell with the team on Exhibit 10 contracts.

Bitim had two seasons left on his contract, but both years were fully non-guaranteed. Lofton was signed to a non-guaranteed training camp contract.

The waiver of Bitim may have opened a path for Horton-Tucker to make the Bulls regular season roster. Liddell could be converted to a two-way contract, as Chicago has one open two-way roster spot.

Exactly. What most people can't understand is for undrafted free agents what Lofton has been getting is what amounts to a 'chance'. Four teams in the past year have had him in their gym and none of them have kept him.
