The New York Knicks waived forwards Chuma Okeke and T.J. Warren. Both Okeke and Warren were signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts.
Along with the waiver of Landry Shamet, releasing Okeke and Warren brought the Knicks to just 12 players on standard contracts. New York will have to add two players within the next two weeks.
It's expected that Okeke and Warren will join the Westchester Knicks for the upcoming G League season. Both players will be working towards getting an NBA callup this season.
