Tyrese Maxey will be out several weeks due to a right hamstring injury. Maxey has typically played through injuries during his career, but the Philadelphia 76ers will take a cautious approach with his soft tissue injury.

Maxey exited the Sixers' loss on Wednesday against the LA Clippers with the injury.

The Sixers are 1-6 as they have been playing without Joel Embiid. Maxey is averaging 27.6 points per game on the season. Embiid is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday.

It doesn't matter. I said this before the season began and many times since: If 6-5 Caleb Martin is your starting PF, you're done. Aside from Embiid and Drummond, PHI is dramatically undersized at every position. Even if healthy, this is not a roster that can compete.

And before you say it... No, PJ Tucker won't solve the problem. He is old, slow, can't/won't shoot and is also undersized.
