Warner Bros. Discovery and the NBA have settled their lawsuit with Disney agreeing to license the TNT show "Inside the NBA" to ESPN and ABC starting next season the key point of the agreement.

WBD's digital platforms, Bleacher Report and House of Highlights, will also continue to have access to NBA content. The company will also continue to run the NBA's digital operations including NBA TV for the next several years.

Seems like a win.
WBD gets someone (ESPN) to cover some of their operating costs, including Charles Barkley's pricey long-term contract.
ESPN, who has continued to decrease their count (and quality) of commentators, gets an accomplished cast that already has fans.
NBA takes the one thing that fans seemed to like from WBD (Inside The NBA) and puts it with one of their preferred partners (ESPN).

And to add to your point about ESPN decreasing their commentator count, they get a crew and staff that they can't just simply fire when the executives wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Plus, we get a possible bonus of Stephen A guesting in the show. That would be hell of a show!

I think Shaq and Charles would strangle Stephen A. within 3 or 4 episodes together
