Rival executives expect the Philadelphia 76ers to look to upgrade at the power forward position, according to Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.
The team has several potential trade pieces, including KJ Martin's $7.9 million contract.
The Sixers' depth chart at power forward currently includes a rotation of Caleb Martin and Guerschon Yabusele.
Fischer also confirmed reports that Nick Nurse and Daryl Morey are not in danger of losing their jobs.

They could check out Detroit’s power forward. He’s been pretty good this year - Tobias Harris

Besides a positive surprise in McCain, Yabusele is basically their only player who is producing as expected. Martin is also ok, but not a PF, plays badly out of postion. Everyone is else is either underwhelming, injured, or both.
How is RoCO health-wise? He knows the system, and was still servicable on the Clippers despite Lue not playing him. They could bring him back for the vet min.

Scouring? bruh...I can do that in 10 minutes....
76ers don't really have the contracts to make any sort of significant depth trade. Their highest contracts other than the big 3 are around $8mil. Even if they go 2 for 1 (KJ Martin + Caleb or Oubre), what $16mil power forward are they really getting?
Do they want Dorian Finney Smith from BRK? Grant Williams from CHA? Olynyk from TO? Like...that's about as good as they're gonna get for $13-18 mil unless ORL decides to send Isaac or the Spurs send Harrison Barnes. Plus they're a 1st apron team so the contract wiggle room is pretty small.
Straight up for KJ's $8mil: Trey Lyles? Jeff Green? Kenrich Williams? Georges Niang? Lol...is that really what they're "scouring" for?
The 76ers are stuck, even if they add in 1st rounders...the contracts just don't work.

PG is the biggest player on PHI that is not a center... but he is not even almost a PF. I have been pointing out how small PHI was (outside of Embiid/Drummond) since they were declared the winners of the offseason. A very poorly constructed roster around their three stars.
You are the position you guard and PG is usually guarding the opposing teams best perimeter player.

Williams is attainable if POR is content with one 1st, Gordon and either KJ or Oubre. (I think PHI only has one tradeable 1st.) Either way, those guys can't be traded until Dec. 14th.
That said, I don't think PHI needs a $16m PF. They need a couple of big bodies that can guard their position; offense not required.

Who would've thought that bringing in a chronically injured PG13 and a plethora of journeyman wings and a limited big man to fill out a roster around a chronically injured Embiid and Maxey was more likely to derail than succeed?
Only the same people thinking they can get Harris level PF for peanuts.

How about Caleb Martin for Paul Reed?
Oh wait…PHL waived him to sign Martin.
