Trae Young has signed a shoe deal with Jordan Brand. Young's alma mater, Oklahoma, is also a Jordan Brand school.

“This brand embodies basketball, style, a desire to win and the desire to be great,” said Young.

Young was previously signed with Adidas and had been spotted wearing ANTA shoes in the preseason. 

Other Jordan Brand athletes include Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson and Russell Westbrook.

Are they really making money on these shoe deals? Is there enough people buying Trae Young shoes? Or does he even get a shoe and if not how does it work.. The mark up on the shoes must be outrageous to pay players this kind of money with no real return on it..

Shoe deals aren't that big unless you're one of league's icons. And sneakers literally cost $5 - 10 to make including labor...
