New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram has parted ways with his agency, Excel Sports. It's not been reported which agency Ingram will sign with.
The veteran forward is in the final year of his contract. Many expected Ingram to be traded this past offseason, but he's remained with the Pelicans.
It's been reported that Ingram is seeking a max or near-max contract extension. That's not something that New Orleans has been willing to entertain. It's also likely caused issues with finding a trade partner, as that team would assume Ingram's extension desires after acquiring him.
