When Kamala Harris settled on Tim Walz as her pick as vice presidential running mate in August, her team reached out to Adrian Wojnarowski about breaking the news on X, reports Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.

Wojnarowski, who would leave ESPN in September, was scooped by another outlet with the Walz news. Wojnarowski broke his own exit from NBA media shortly after breaking news of Isaac Okoro's three-year, $38 million contact with the Cavaliers.

Wojnarowski is now general manager of St. Bonaventure with a salary of $75,000 per year, according to Mannix.

   It gets funnier every time they break more of these news. As if wasting $1.4B (mostly on buying "support" from those "celebs"), almost 4x more than Trump's campaign, is not hilarious enough. It takes some real talent to be this incompetent.

Yeah money (or in this case doesn‘t) buys a President. Greatest country there is and will ever be!
„But they wasted more than the others“-fingerpointing. Absolutely hilarious

There is a saying "Vote blue no matter who", is there one for Republicans? Anyhow, she lost all of the swing/battleground states, so she wasn't even well perceived compared to Biden; let's be honest, he wasn't that great to begin with. The only Woj bomb would be something ilke "Breaking: Trump is the next president" 5 hours into election day.

That's such nonsense, it's already been disproven that Dems paid celebrities... But it won't stop Trumpers from repeating the lies created by Trump and his criminal cartel.

When did I say that? I just said that she lost all the swing states so obviously the voters in the middle weren't too fond of her during this election.

Disproven? By whom? CNN MSDNC that are losing a lot of viewers and you would be one of the few who are still willing to get brainwashed, LOL. Here are the facts.

"The Harris campaign did make two payments totaling $1 million to Harpo Productions Inc., Oprah Winfrey’s production company, on Oct. 15, for “event production.” Winfrey said in an Instagram comment that she was “not paid a dime” and that the payments went toward production fees for her interview with Harris in September. “I did not take any personal fee. However the people who worked on that production needed to be paid. And were. End of story,” Winfrey wrote."

So I don't get paid if my own company gets paid? LOL you tools are willing to believe anything as long as the TV said so.

I came for the laughs and you delivered! Disproven by whom? Did you see her apology video to her top donors where she was drunk and bragging about spending 1.4 billion in under 100 days. I hate both Trump and Kamala but to pretend like everything she did was justifiable is delusional! They spent 750k on a set for Call Her Daddy to come to her and it barely reached a million views while Trump paid nothing to go on Rogen and got 60 million views. She could have done the same but said it was too costly to travel to Austin but they had 3.5 million for Lizzo? Who in her campaign thought it was a good idea to send people hundreds of text messages begging for their hard earned money for her to just hand it over to millionaires? And people like you wonder why she lost by a landslide?

Still hilarious! The laughing stock that US democracy is. You literally can't make this up.

Don't forget all the science that is a hoax!

Where do you get your facts from --social media... Hey genius Oprah is worth $3 billion you think she cares about whatever, if anything, was leftover after all her staff were paid... Ya she really sold her vote for a couple grand, even less after her company is taxed.

You wanna talk about being clueless, how much money did Musk make for backing Trump? Let me guess, you don't know... He made $12B the day after the election, since then his net worth has gone up another $58 billion, so who's really being paid, and this doesn't even include all the government contracts and tax breaks his companies will now get.

FYI I'm not a huge Harris supporter, but I loathe Trump... You couldn't have elected a less trustworthy person, get your popcorn ready it's clown time at the circus.

Here is the FEC filings of disbursements from the Kamala Harris Presidential Elections fund.

https://www.fec.gov/data/disbursements/?data_type=processed&committee_id=C00703975&two_year_transaction_period=2024

Just as an example...if you sort this by amount (paid) and go to where the disbursement is $500,000 you'll see 2 payments made by the Harris campaign to Harpo Productions. Harpo Productions as most people know IS Oprah's own company. Now Oprah has said that it was for "production costs" but Oprah, at $3 billion net worth (as you said) could have easily donated the cost for whatever those "production" services was as well (yes, it's allowed).

Harris's campaign also gave nearly $4 million to a company called "Village Marketing Agency" which connects clients with social media influencers. Now you can argue that part of that $4 million didn't actually go into the pockets of Influencers and instead was just for "connecting" services but there are multiple independent influencers that have said that companies representing the Harris' campaign reached out to them as offered to pay them to "support" her on social media. There were not "republican" types. Sure they could have been lying, all of them? And one of the "Village Marketing Agency" services is to find Influencers to promote your brand or your product and since they are the one's connecting influencer and product it would not be unusual for the funds that the product owners would pay the influencer to be paid to them first. That's how these businesses make money...they take a percentage of what the brand is going to pay the influencer.

Harris's campaign also paid over $12 million to digital media consultants, including spending over $100,000 to build a set in LA for the Call Her Daddy podcast that was up for about a few hours (cause Harris didn't want to travel to he podcast hosts location and instead forced her to fly to LA to meet her). And no this wasn't Maga fake news, the podcaster herself confirmed it and even laughed saying that that set wasn't worth $100,000 lol based on how shabby it looked. So even the $100,000 she unnecessarily spent was overpriced and yet she paid for it. Trump? He drug us near 80 year old ass to Joe Rogan, Andrew Shulz, etc spending hours upon hours of time in candid none scripted discussions.

An additional $15 million (according to FEC filings) was spent on events and concerts where celebrities and performers were present. Yes of course you can argue that it was just for the venue but if you actually look at how normal concerts and the like works, you're not going to see a payment filed "paid Beyonce for $5 million" or "paid Oprah for $1 million".

Business people and people that know how to "game" the system (basically most wealthy people) can hide expenses like you and I walk and breath. The celebrities aren't the one's getting paid directly. It's their companies that's getting paid...and usually thru intermediaries like the companies you see in the filings above. Doesn't mean she did but also doesn't mean she didn't. So the various "fact checking" sites? Honestly, "fact" isn't as easy to determine as one may think.

At the end of the day, the problem still is where the heck did that $1+ billion go? And she did spend beyond her means (this is NOT Trump fake news, her own campaign finance (fund raising) head admitted it). If she didn't spend it on celebrities you can argue that it's even worse in terms of "so what did you spend it on?" And she did spend it (you can tally up her own campaigns filings in the link above). Yes you can access Trumps campaign expenses as using the above link (Trump's campaign spent A LOT less). And no the FEC is not controlled by Trump or a 3rd party system. It's part of the federal government, which during the totality of the expenditures by both parties leading up the November 5th was technically under Biden and Harris.

To me the bigger concern isn't whether celebrities were paid or not. Who cares. I don't see the point of vilifying any celebrity who wants to get paid for endorsements. That's what they do. That's their business. Anyone think that celebrities that endorse products actually use or like those products? They may, they may not. Kamala Harris is just another product. SO whether they really support Kamala or not doesn't really matter (which is part of why I don't think those endorsements really helped her).

The bigger (only) concern out of this campaign spending thing for me is how can I expect Harris to run a country's economy if she can't control her own campaigns "economy"? That's the killer. All the rest of the back and forth is just fluff and banter.
