LeBron James missed Wednesday's practice with the Los Angeles Lakers for personal reasons.

"LeBron is not with the team right now," JJ Redick said after practice. "He's out for personal reasons, excused absence."

James missed Sunday's game due to soreness in his left foot. The Lakers play just two games during a 10-day stretch from December 9th until 18th. Redick gave the entire team the day off Monday and designated Tuesday as optional. 

"Heck, if somebody wants to go spend a couple of nights in Santa Barbara and relax, that's fine too," Redick said after the Blazers game. "It's a quarter way through the season."

Redick added that James is currently "taking some time." It is not yet clear if he will play in their next game on Friday at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Been seeing those rumors too. Certainly seems weird to just take time off for "personal reasons" .....didn't he say he was committed to playing all 82 games this year just a min ago??
