Bulls Don't Want To Back Zeke Nnaji From Nuggets As Part Of Zach LaVine Trade

If the Denver Nuggets were to acquire Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls, they have looked to send back Zeke Nnaji alongside Michael Porter Jr. But the Bulls have resisted taking on Nnaji, who is in Year 1 of a four-year, $32 million contract.

Nnaji has averaged only 1.3 points and 0.4 rebounds in 4.9 minutes over 16 games this season with the Nuggets. Nnaji has a PER of just 4.6. Nnaji played as many as 17.0 minutes over 41 games in his 20-year-old season in 21-22 and signed his extension before the 23-24 season.

The Nuggets could possibly also take back Torrey Craig as part of a LaVine deal.

No. Nnaji sucks.

That means that DEN will have to use a 1st and find a third team to take Nnaji.

I'm surprised the Bulls are ok with MPJ.

This is terribly written.

Nnaji *averaged* 17 minutes per game in 21/22.

Wording it with "as many as" would be saying 17 mins was his max in any 1 of those 41 games.

I'm assuming the author was trying to say that was Nnaji's peak season for MPG, but then he's got to reword sentence entirely.

(21/22 also wasn't Nnaji's age 20 season)
