The NBA has announced they are postponing Thursday's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets at Crypto.com due to the ongoing wildfires in the area.

JJ Redick is among those who have lost their homes in the fires.

The NBA will announce a date to reschedule the game at a later date.

It wasn't a joke. I don't even understand how you could think that was a joke. I grew up there, most of my family and friends are still there and have been affected by the fires. They have lost homes and businesses. The last thing they need is for first responders to be be wasted on traffic and crowd control around Staples.
