Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga is still weeks away from returning to the lineup. Kuminga suffered a severely sprained right ankle on January 4.
The fourth-year forward is out of the walking boot he had been spotted in, but still has his ankle heavily wrapped. Kuminga has not yet begun any on-court work.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr recently said that Kuminga is progressing, but will still be out for a while. Kuminga has been mentioned in various trade rumors throughout the season, but Golden State has continued to make it known that they don't have any plans on parting with the young forward.
