Isaiah Thomas is making another run at getting back to the NBA. Thomas signed with the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League. The Stars at the affiliate of the Utah Jazz.

Thomas played in six games with the Phoenix Suns last season. The veteran point guard played in four games with the Stars last season, before joining the Suns.

Thomas will turn 36 years old on February 7. He's hoping to use the G League for another ramp up back to an NBA deal for the rest of the season.

I'd go catch a game. I can't believe I haven't gone to a G league game yet... I only needed a reason.

It's worth seeing a G League game if only to cast into relief the massive difference between it and the NBA. G League hoops can be super entertaining, but it is so far from the League it's crazy to see close up.
