Bucks 'Determined' To Make Trade By Deadline

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jan 29, 2025 3:13 am

While the Milwaukee Bucks have a fairly limited path of trade options available to them due to their dearth of tradeable future picks and second apron status, they are considered "as determined as any team" to make a deal before the deadline, reports Marc Stein.

The Bucks have been on the periphery of Jimmy Butler trade talks. Milwaukee cannot currently combine contracts in any offer for Butler unless they can trade away Pat Connaughton's contract to get under the second apron.

The Bucks also hold Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis, who are on contracts that end after the 25-26 season.

The Bucks could trade their 2031 first round selection in a trade.
