Reggie Miller To Join NBC As Lead NBA Color Commentator

Reggie Miller has agreed to join NBC as their lead color commentator when they begin broadcasting the NBA during the 25-26 season. Miller has been an analyst with TNT for 20 years.
NBC's lead play-by-play announcers are Mike Tirico and Noah Eagle, while Jamal Crawford will also be a color commentator.

He's gotten a less annoying in 20 years doing it but i've never thought of him as a good announcer

Still very annoying. Terrible choice imo. Which really shows you how bad the current landscape of NBA commentators is. Losing Doc Rivers & JJ Redick to coaching was also not great. Not saying they are the best ever, but it just leaves you with more terrible options.
There are still clearly better options than Reggie, but it seems like NBC rather go with someone just because of their name.

I mean in germany the secondary commentator is called just Expert, but I Guess where the Word is coming from is because the color commentator brings in his Expertise to make the commentary more "colorful" Compared to just having someone being aloje which can be a little bit boring (or "grey" which is the opposite to colorful in this case).
just stop reducing this Word to just being used for skin color...
