LeBron James will stay with the Los Angeles Lakers past the upcoming trade deadline, sources told Chris Haynes.

Haynes added that the Lakers were appreciative of the professionalism shown by James and Rich Paul throughout the trade process involving Anthony Davis and Luka Doncic.

"They felt like those two made this a seamless process," said Haynes.

The Lakers reached out to Paul after the Mavs initially discussed a trade involving Doncic. 

James reportedly had "no idea" that a trade involving Davis was in the works. 

James has also "dreamed" of playing with Doncic for years.

hahaha yeah right Lebron didn't know. Love the "Lebron had no idea" and then right below that "Lebron dreamed of playing with Luka for years!" LOVE IT.

James has also "dreamed" of playing with <insert two more of the league's top-5 franchise players here) for all of his career.

I believe that Lebron didn't know about this trade happening, though he had to know that both he and AD could not play the PF position for the Lakers. Davis has complained to the media multiple times that he wanted them to get a C so he could move back to the PF spot, even though James can't guard SFs anymore, PF is his best position now.

Might as well trade him if they can’t get a big man. Valanciunas is the answer.

Why not get a couple first rounders and let him go to a contender for his last year or two. Don't waste him with this team... the team they had actually had a chance to win, now they have no Big and lost Max Christie who was a great 3 and d guy... I would not have made this trade in the middle of the season. He will not have a chance this year. They need to trade him and build around Doncic.
