After the Los Angeles Lakers blew out the LA Clippers on Tuesday, LeBron James was asked for the first time about the massive trade that brought Luka Doncic to the Lakers. James said his initial impressions were similar to most everyone else's when he found out that Anthony Davis had been traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

"My emotions were all over the place, obviously," James said. "We had just come off a big win. A huge win in the Garden. I was out. I mean, you guys have seen the report. I was out with my family at dinner and got the news and the first time I heard it, I thought it was for sure fake. I thought it was a hoax, people messing around or whatever. But then when AD called me, AD FaceTimed me and I talked to him for quite a while, and even when I got off the phone with him, it still didn't seem real."

James said it still didn't fully sink in until he saw Doncic and Davis with their new teams on Tuesday. The Lakers superstar also made sure to make it known he's committed to his team.

"If I had concerns about it, I'd waive my no-trade clause and get up out of here," James said. "I'm here right now. I'm here right now. I'm committed to the Lakers organization.

"As the leader of the team, as one of the captains of the team, it's my job to make it as seamless as possible (for the new acquisitions)."

Call me a pessimist/hater or whatever but I find it almost impossible to know that Klutch's number 1 client and a serial offender for throwing team mates under the bus had no knowledge of this

I can't wait to see LBJ and Luka on defense. Lakers are going to be allowing 140 ppg.

With how hush everything was, and how extremely difficult it is to keep things on hush in the NBA, especially if someone doesn't want to be traded, it's pretty believable. The more people you have involved, the higher chance there will be a leak. Not having even an incling of a leak? Yea, that doesn't happen unless it's just a few people aware.
