The ways for the Phoenix Suns to turn around their franchise currently looks bleak and are heading towards a trade of Kevin Durant in the offseason, but Devin Booker wants to remain with the franchise for his entire career regardless. 

"I have to say, I don't think they're going to trade Devin Booker," said Brian Windhorst on The Hoop Collective Podcast. "Devin Booker wants to be there."

Booker was drafted by the Suns in 2015 and went through several frustrating seasons early in his career before they became a title contender in 2021 and 2022. As quickly as the Suns emerged, they have since become a fringe playoff team and have burned through their available assets to turn around the situation in the short-term.

"Devin Booker wants to be there his whole career," Windhorst emphasized. 

The Houston Rockets are amongst the teams interested in trading Booker, who also own the Suns' first rounder in 2027.

"The Devin Booker that I know wants to be a Phoenix Sun for his entire career," said Windhorst.

the suns are gonna be the worst team in the nba if they dont get picks from a bad team. After next season they only have 5 players on contract and dont have picks for years the KD trade is the only way they can put a team on the court. The wont win anything for years to come

They have 2 first rd picks not good ones but they have them.. They can always blow it up trade Kd and. Booker for a decent amount of picks and a rebuild.. KD is pretty much gone after this for sure
