Brandon Ingram and the Toronto Raptors have agreed to a three-year, $120 million extension. Ingram will have a player option for the 27-28 season.

The Raptors acquired Ingram at the trade deadline from the New Orleans Pelicans for Bruce Brown Jr., Kelly Olynyk, a first round pick in 2026 via the Indiana Pacers, and one second round pick.

Ingram was on a $36 million expiring contract and will now exit the 2025 NBA free agency class.

Ingram has appeared in 18 games this season and is averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 33.1 minutes. Ingram is shooting 37.4 percent on a career high 6.4 three-point attempts per game.

If these guys can get lucky and land Harper this can be a very good team

Its a 2 year deal or at most 3 if he is continually injured. Not a great deal for the Raptors but pretty low risk long term.

The Raptors got a steal.

Raptors quietly building something nice. Gonna surprise a lot of people next season, if everyone stays healthy.

obviously in a perfect world the Raps would be happier with paying a bit less but they knew what he was asking for when they traded for him, so this was expected.I think he'll be motivated more in Toronto, the Pels are a real mess, just a dysfunctional organization basically. he's a good player, injury prone obviously but I think a change of scenery might do him good and we'll see a better version of himself in the next couple of years

low risk for the Raps even if doesn't pan out and they can let him sit out the season if he wants to...

I like it, it's pretty hard to get guys to sign in Toronto, so they have to overpay to get all-star caliber or even fringe all-star caliber talent

In a couple years time it's an expiring deal at around $41.5m

Selling ? Right now I'd accept giving. It'd be about who will take his contract. Of course maybe as he plays more things improve but as it is the ball sticks to him too much and his defense doesn't make up for it so I agree.
