Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green made a big prediction about how his team's season is going to end. As part of TNT's All-Star Game coverage, Green predicted the Warriors would win the 2025 NBA Finals.

"We’re gonna win the championship," Green said to TNT’s Adam Lefkoe, Jalen Rose and Vince Carter before the Sunday night events.

"Say that one more time so that everybody can hear," Lefkoe replied.

"I’m sorry," Green added with a bit of dramatic flair. "I said I think we’re gonna win a championship. But I lied. We are going to win the championship. That’s what’s going to happen."

The Warriors are 3-1 since adding Jimmy Butler in a trade deadline move. Golden State hit the All-Star break at 28-27 and are tied for ninth place in the Western Conference.

I really really like the Butler addition. He's the kind of scorer and defender who connects so much of what they do, and adds the tertiary playmaking that the Dubs have been missing since the Livingston/Iggy days.

I love the way OKC has developed, but they absolutely, positively want zero parts of good veteran squad. The Thunder might just overwhelm them with talent and athleticism, but if it becomes a tight series, GSW can leverage clutch experience, it's in their DNA.

They beat CHI, MIL without Giannis and HOU without FVV, Jabari Smith Jr. and Tari Easton. They lost to DAL with half their roster missing. I don't think these games mean anything yet, but I appreciate players that believe in themselves and their teammates.
