Javonte Green Agrees To Buyout With Pelicans, Plans To Sign With Cavaliers

Javonte Green and the New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a contract buyout and he intends to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers upon clearing waivers.
Green joined the Pelicans as a free agent in August and has averaged 5.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals this season. Green played a season-high 34 minutes for the Pelicans in their final game before the All-Star break.
