Malika Andrews, Brian Windhorst Will Be Free Agents Later In 2025

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Feb 21, 2025 5:08 pm

Malika Andrews and Brian Windhorst will be free agents in 2025. Andrews' current contract with ESPN expires in the fall, while Windhorst's is up in the summer. ESPN would like to retain both members of their team.

Andrews hosts both NBA Today and NBA Countdown. Andrews also has fans within the NBA league office. Some insiders have speculated that Andrews could eventually have a place on a daytime news and entertainment program.

Windhorst joined ESPN in 2010 and frequently appears on Get Up, First Take and the NBA Today. Windhorst appears to have a strong working partnership with Shams Charania.

“Shams is the what—and Windy is the why,” says one source.

ESPN recently lost Adrian Wojnarowski to retirement and Zach Lowe to a lay-off.

Anybody bought and paid for by an active player in the league can't be trusted lol

This is y the nba sucks now. There is no honest journalism anymore. You get favors if you go on certain analyst podcast and their social media networks

The man who thinks he's everybodys best friend. Probably time to focus on his podcasting.

Saying ESPN "lost" Zach Lowe to a layoff is crazy

I tried to like Malika. I did for awhile until I started reading up on her. Now every time she talks, it just irritates the bejesus out of me. On the flip side, at first I was never a fan of Chiney, but boy has she won me over because she "knows" what she's talking about. Malika just seems like she's reading a script with the occasion forced narrative.
