After the Sacramento Kings blowout home loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday, interim head coach Doug Christie called a meeting with his starters to address some concerns.

Chief among Christie's issues was making sure his team understood the gravity of their situation. The Kings are battling for a spot in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament with several team.

Christie also addressed the team's commitment to defense and their need to improve their communication. Included in this meeting were Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray, DeMar DeRozan, Malik Monk and trade deadline acquisition Zach LaVine. Christie hoped that my addressing his five starters that the message would filter down to the rest of the team, as well.

It's not Christie's fault that they just built Bulls West.

I've got to believe that move was about the assets, not LaVine. We'll see what they do over the summer. They're on the clock.

Monte's really challenging Suns FO for assembling a really good, young team with potential and then subsequently destroying it in 2-3 years time. Now have a team full of 1-on-1, iso scorers and don't have a true PG except Fultz (who is surely rusty from not playing much in almost a year). Defensively the personnel is straight up bad since the 22-23 roster. It's like McNair's trying to load up on 30+ iso scorers who don't play D, lol. Maybe he should deal Domas for Beal in the off season, smdh. :banghead:
