Steve Kerr is hopeful that his 33rd starting lineup for the season will be the one he is comfortable sticking with for the balance of the Golden State Warriors' season. Kerr started Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Jimmy Butler, Moses Moody and Draymond Green.

“I imagine we will stay with this lineup,” Kerr said. “I hope so. Because we’ve had a million different starting lineups this year. It’d be nice to stick with this for the rest of the season.”

The lineup is small, but Kerr believes they make up for it other ways.

“I think it’s the best two-way starting group we can put on the floor,” Kerr said. “You get Moses’ shooting, you get BP’s playmaking to go with Steph and Jimmy. Then Draymond and Jimmy at the five and four defensively behind the play. We lack size, but we have a lot of brainpower back there.”

“I like it,” Butler said. “I do. You’ve just got some feisty individuals out there that’s fighting, scrapping on both sides of the ball, sharing the ball, scoring, getting stops. Small or not, we’re getting it done.”

Unlike LeBron who cried about not having a 3rd franchise player type star for years whenever he doesn't have a super team, Curry didn't even have a 2nd star for long time. Now he finally got one in Butler and it's making a huge difference.

The last time butler made an all star team was in 2022, which was the last time Draymond made the all star team. So I’m trying to figure if Butler is an all star, how is Green not an all star? Also, Wiggins made the all star team in 2022 which means the warriors had 3 all stars. In fact, Chris Paul was on the all star team in 2022 as well. It seems as though Steph has played with more recent all star players than LeBron has in the past 5 years.

100 percent correct.. Steph also played on the most stacked team of the era.. Klay Draymond Iggy Durant with Livingston off the bench.. Iggy was a max player when they went and got him and he won finals mvp.. Durant was number 2 in the league behind LeBron and just ahead of Steph.. Draymond was probably the best or second best defender in the league depending on Kawhis availability. and at the time klay was the best sg in the league and top tier two way player all will be HOFERs.. I mean Steph won 73 games and still flew out to beg Durant for help

None of that matters because Steph was drafted by the warriors and he never switched teams like LeBron did Lol. But let’s not forget the warriors have also had like 3 top 12 picks in the past 5 years, and one year they had the #1 pick. They could have drafted Anthony Edwards!!
