NBA To Work With NBC On New All-Star Game Plans

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 25, 2025 2:18 pm

The NBA All-Star Game is moving to NBC next season, as part of the league's new media rights deals. That move is expected to see the NBA to work with NBC on changes to the All-Star Game format.

One possible format would carry over the mini-tournament from this year. The change would be two teams of US-born All-Stars, a team of international All-Stars and then a fourth team made up of All-Star snubs.

This year, the NBA split the 24 All-Stars into three eight-man teams. The fourth team in the mini-tournament was the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge.

I'm ok with tournament if it's two American teams and two international teams. Get rid of Kevin Hart and all those old farts talking and lets see some basketball.
