Despite the struggles of the Phoenix Suns this season, Devin Booker is believed to tied to the franchise for the longterm. Booker will be one of the players eligible for a contract extension this offseason.

"Booker is deemed untouchable and doesn't want to leave," writes Brian Windhorst.

Booker and the Suns signed a four-year, $224 million supermax contract extension during the 2022 offseason. Booker is averaging 25.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 37.3 minutes over 56 games this season with the Suns. Booker is represented by Jessica Holtz and Melvin Booker.

The Suns, however, are expected to trade Kevin Durant.

There's no such thing as "untouchable" anymore. Suns would be foolish to think this guy could lead them anywhere but the 11th seed.

Booker is a complimentary player, not someone you build a team around.

No, he just had the better team. That run to the Finals- every team they faced had a better player, except for the Clippers series where Kawhi was injured.

Lakers: AD & Bron
Nuggets: Jokic
Clippers: Kawhi
Bucks: Giannis and I can argue that J. Holiday was better because he had both him and christopher on lock.
