De'Aaron Fox May Have Surgery For Dislocated Left Pinky Soon
San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox has been playing through a dislocated left pinky finger. Fox has said that the injury will necessitate surgery.
Now, there might be a timeline forming for when Fox will have that surgery. The veteran guard will meet with doctors in Los Angeles when the Spurs travel to play a makeup game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Marcy 17. Fox said that meeting will tell him how to move forward.
"The surgery may or may not happen that day," Fox said.
With the Spurs falling out of contention for the Play-In Tournament, with Victor Wembanyama sidelined for the year, Fox may have the surgery sooner rather than later. Having the surgery sooner would delay the impact into the offseason for Fox, as he prepares for his first full season with San Antonio.
