Forward Alex Toohey has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft as an Early Entry Candidate. Toohey played for the Sydney Kings in the Australian NBL last season.
In 32 games with the Kings, Toohey averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. The 6-foot-7 forward shot 46.5% from the field and 34% on three-pointers last season.
Toohey is currently ranked as the 37th best prospect on ESPN's Top 100. That puts him in like to be an early second-round pick. Some believe Toohey could be selected late in the first-round, depending on who else declares and how his pre-draft workouts go.
As he only turns 21 ahead of the draft, Toohey must declare as an Early Entry Candidate. International players are not automatically eligible for the draft until they turn 22 years old in the year of the draft.
