Kings Interested In Scott Perry, Calvin Booth To Lead Front Office

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Apr 17, 2025 12:53 pm

The Sacramento Kings are on the lookout for a new front office leader, after mutually parting ways with Monte McNair. Two names on the Kings radar are Scott Perry and Calvin Booth

Perry has worked for several teams in various front office roles. He previously briefly worked for the Kings as a vice president of basketball operations, before he was hired as the New York Knicks general manager in 2017. At this point, Perry is considered the frontrunner for the job.

Booth was recently let go by the Denver Nuggets. He previously interviewed with the Kings when McNair got the lead executive job. Booth helped build the Nuggets into a title team in 2023.

Whoever leads the Kings front office next is expected to have considerable say in the team's next head coach. However, consideration will be given to Doug Christie to keep the job. Christie went 27-24 as Sacramento's interim head coach after replacing Mike Brown.
