Heat Send No. 15 Pick To Thunder By Advancing To 2025 Playoffs

With the Miami Heat advancing out of the Play-In and into the playoffs, they will convey the No. 15 pick in the draft to the Oklahoma City Thunder. If the Heat would have been in the lottery this season, they would have had to send an unprotected pick to the Thunder in 2026 as well as an unprotected pick to the Charlotte Hornets in 2028.
The protections on the future first round pick to the Hornets are 1-14 in 2027 and unprotected in 2028.
