Kendrick Nunn Named EuroLeague MVP

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Apr 21, 2025 12:46 pm

Guard Kendrick Nunn has been named the MVP of the 2024-25 EuroLeague season. Nunn won the award while playing for Panathinaikos of Greece.

Nunn beat out Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos for the award. T.J. Shorts of Paris Basketball finished third in the voting.

Nunn, who played for parts of three different seasons in the NBA, is finishing his second season with Panathinaikos. In 33 EuroLeague games, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged 21.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists and a steal per game. Nunn shot 50.3% from the field, including 42.6% on 7.2 three-point attempts per game in the EuroLeague.

Nunn recently signed a three-year extension with Panathinaikos that makes him the highest paid player in the EuroLeague. The deal reportedly includes no NBA outs.

Panathinaikos is set to host a best-of-five first-round series against Real Madrid in the EuroLeague playoffs. Panathinaikos enters the tournament with the top seed, after going 24-10 during the EuroLeague season.
