Ja Morant Leaves Game 3 With Hip Injury

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Apr 25, 2025 4:49 am

Ja Morant left the Memphis Grizzlies' 114-108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 due to a hip injury.

Morant suffered the injury after a hard fall in the second quarter.

The officials ruled that Lu Dort, who fouled Morant on the fall, would not receive a flagrant foul.

The Grizzlies lead by 29 at the time of the foul.

Morant had 15 points and five assists when he left the game.

Sounds like a typical Morant injury. This guy will lead Memphis to nowhere but early playoff exits...if they make the playoffs.

Extremely similar to the jimmy butler play. Either they are dirty or the players don’t know how to play at 100%. It’s one of the two because neither of these guys had plays like this that i can recall during the season. They are both excellent defenders, and more than others play closer to 100% all the time … so i vote dirty. 1 game suspension so that they are not encouraged to injure the best players on the opposing teams

They weren’t dirty plays, just kind of in the moment both guys going full throttle. It happens
