The Houston Rockets are discussing pushing back the decision on Fred VanVleet's $44.9 million team options to the end of June, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line and Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.
The Rockets must decide on VanVleet's future this week under the original agreement.
VanVleet previously said that he hopes to remain with the Rockets.
Rafael Stone has indicated that the Rockets plan on prioritizing continuity this summer.
