The Philadelphia 76ers offseason will get some clarity at Monday's 2025 NBA Draft Lottery. If the Sixers pick lands in the top-six (Philadelphia is slotted in the fifth spot pre-lottery), they'll keep the pick. If the pick slides back to seven or later, the 76ers will convey that selection to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Later in the offseason, Philadelphia will get roster and cap sheet clarity when a trio of veterans make decisions on player options for the 2025-26 season. Andre Drummond, Eric Gordon and Kelly Oubre Jr. all hold player options for the upcoming season. All three players have until June 29 to decide if they are opting in for next season.

The Sixers expect all three veterans to opt in for next season. Oubre carries the largest contract, with his option worth $8.4 million. Drummond has a $5 million option, while Gordon has a $3.5 million option.

The outcome of the options, combined with what happens with their first-round pick, will determine what signing exception the Sixers have access to. The Non-Taxpayer MLE is worth a projected $14.1 million, while the Taxpayer MLE is worth a projected $5.7 million this offseason.

Gordon: Sure, what are his options.
Drummond: Embiid's health is his job security.
Oubre: Maybe, but he probably shouldn't. Check out these stats vs the rest of the NBA.
12th in STL
26th in MPG
48th in REB
59th in FTA
65th in PPG
92nd in BLK
101st in FG%
142nd in AST
201st in $$$

I'm not saying Oubre is worth more, but I promise you that HE believes he's worth more. We will see, because they really need him!

Won’t be surprised if Kelly gets offered a larger contract long term elsewhere. 4/50 etc

I like Oubre. He's been a solid, high energy guy for the past two years. That being said, I hope he opts out.

I really would like Drummond and Gordon to opt out as well, but those two don't have any other options as they are washed. Daryl is going to have to get creative in a trade.

PHI has a distinct lack of depth and Oubre is on a value contract. I don't think PHI can afford to have him walk. Drummond averaged 14/15 Per36 last season and 18/19 the season before that. He's only owed $5m next year and Embiid just had knee surgery. He isn't great but he's better than whoever PHI would find to replace him. Gordon... yeah, he could walk.
