Cooper Flagg is the presumptive No. 1 pick with Dylan Harper expected to be selected at No. 2.

It is honestly shocking that they would even allow this level of appearance of the lottery being rigged. Holy **** ****.

This may have been the last straw ladies and gents. I’ve been watching the NBA since 1986, but this, this is nothing more than a scripted soap opera.

Even the WWE has more dignity than this.

Now the Luka conspiracy theory makes sense. "Trade Luka to LA, we'll give you Cooper Flagg". Who would say no? I'd say yes if I was GM of the Mavs.

I wonder if the Mavs fans will come back

I think you mean Adam Silver, and it's not that awesome. I fine with the Jazz not being rewarded. Mixed feelings about the shenanigans as a whole.

If we're going to talk statistics and probabilities, the math says there's a 0.012% chance that the top 3 picks played out the way they did. That's a 1 in 8,319 chance. The NBA lottery has been around for 40 years, so you'd have to repeat the entire history of the NBA lottery 200 times for this to ever happen again.

It's literally a lottery. Odds are that Jazz WOULD'NT get the top pick.

I guess we are all sheep then if one of the most lopsided trades in NBA history happened in February and then months later, Dallas gets rewarded with the 1st pick.

The NBA continues its practice of rewarding teams for helping the stars with big trades that don't seem to make sense yet result in winning the lottery despite extreme odds (0.0114%). And they expect the rest of us to believe the ping pong balls just fell that way.

It reminds me of a previous employer who had a manager whose personal ipad was stolen from his desk and then a couple weeks later just happened to have his name drawn at the company Christmas party to win not just an ipad, but a newer one than the one he lost. And yes, they yucked it up like nobody had any advance knowledge that he was going to win the prize and acted shocked at the outcome.

It is ridiculous that the Spurs won the lottery for the sixth time.

All the more satisfying to know that the league-stacked Lakers failed to move out of the first round.

Honestly that dawned on me this morning, but David Stern and draft rigging are so synonymous it just kind of naturally flowed to my keyboard.
