LA Clippers forward Nicolas Batum is planning for the upcoming season to be his final one. Batum has a $4.9 million player option for next season that he's expected to pick up. Following that, the veteran forward is likely calling it a career.

"There’s a very, very good chance that the next season will be my last," Batum said.

Batum appeared in 78 games for the Clippers last year in his 17th NBA season. Batum averaged 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game. The veteran forward saw his role increase in playoffs, as LA fell in seven games to the Denver Nuggets in the first round.

I had to click to find out how many years he has played because Batum seems like he was playing 20 years ago. I've seen so much of this dude its sortve difficult to remember basketball without him.

I still remember the good old days when he was punching players in the nuts. Time flies.
